Mason Industries was started in 1958. Our first effort went toward the creation of a totally new approach to Vibration Isolation using high deflection free standing springs as opposed to traditional inadequate methods. Our more recent work includes new approaches to both seismic and bomb blast protection, architectural isolation for floating floors, walls and ceilings, and complete building isolation, always using our own designs or new methods

Mason Isolation Products

Vibration isolation technology has moved on to the isolation of entire buildings rather than just building components. We have designed and manufactured Neoprene and Natural Rubber bearing pads to frequencies as low as 6 Hz and steel spring assemblies in the 0.75 to 2.00 inch (19 to 50mm) deflection range in individual capacities of 1,000,000 lbs. (454,000 kgs.) Both techniques are used to keep ground vibration and noise out of buildings close to railroads, subways, heavy traffic or industrial impact.

Mason Seismic Restraint

Seismic Applications are basically the same as Non Seismic but complicated by the need to keep equipment in place. Whenever we show our Z-1011 heavily cushioned snubbers, the input to the equipment will not exceed 4 G.
